Life Sciences International

Life Sciences International, a division of the Irish Exporters Association, has launched the Security of Supply Chain and Patient through Good Distribution Practice (SSPSGDP) training initiative. This initiative aims to improve patient safety in a complex international supply chain. This will be done by informing the participants about the latest industry developments and current best practice through a targeted range of online and classroom based training modules developed for the Life Sciences sector. IEA: Irish Exporters Association

The IEA since 2007 has been working with the Irish Life Sciences manufacturers, the Irish Medicines Board and the logistics companies servicing the market, to develop a voluntary Code of Good Distribution Practice for the sector. This GDP Code of practice with its compliance certified courses is the outcome of this collaborative work.
